I've bought many editions of this book. Every year there's a new edition to keep up with the latest in iOS development. Essentially however this book is the same that it was four years ago. This edition feels like a very cheap rehash of the original which is disappointing: some chapters have not been updated and are verbatim what they were in the iOS 5 edition, including methods that were already deprecated in iOS 6. The least I would expect from an update is that the publisher would have taken the time to read and check THE WHOLE BOOK rather than just a few chapters.
I'm sticking with the iOS 5 edition for now and will be careful of future editions. This book has helped me many times over in the past and is well written. I'd give the idea and source of this book five stars, this particular edition deserves only two due to the cheap rehash approach.

This is a good book, but the one hour per lesson maybe if you have already have done the lessons before.
