There isn't much to write about David D. Busch's books on cameras. Several of my friends have them and I wouldn't without them either particularly when it concerns the use of a sophisticated camera as the Nikon D800. I bought one when I purchased the D300 and without doubt my most significant resource. So it is with this book. The writing is clear and to the point. For someone new to the Nikon D800, I would recommend that the person read through it first even if some topics are not yet clear. With repeated usage, I find myself referring more and more to specific topics in the book. Gradually, it becomes a wonderful and helpful resource for anyony who wants to use the camera to its fullest. The included pictures and diagrams are clear and appropriate for the various subjects. I personally like that Mr. Bush attempts to define specific adjustments with their application and his own experiences. This way the book becomes much more readable and specific. I constantly refer to it above and beyond the small user manual that comes with the camera. Without doubt also, the attraction to the book is its price which is very reasonable. The binding of the book is poor. With extensive use the book tends to fall apart. But, again, if handled carefully and costing as little as it does this is a small matter that should not deter the user from buying it. I highly recommend it.

Before I ordered this book I read a lot of reviews and decided to order based on these reviews.
I was so surprised when the book arrived at how big and heavy it is and how very reasonable.
David hasn't missed any detail and I pick up tips and ideas as I work through this.
It is a first class reference book! and highly recommend it to anyone with the D800/D800E.
Thank you David for bringing such a concise and easy to ready book to us.
