The bad.
While the book is well written and a nice read, it is still aimed at the masses rather than giving specific info that might help the person wanting more in depth information on carburetor tuning. Given that there is no way to write a book that tells you how to tune a carburetor to every engine combination, more specific information on cause and effect of circuit changes would allow a person a direction to make changes based on performance results. Unfortunately the title of Super Tune and Modify is just sales hype.
The good.
Like most things in life I have found you can still glean some good information, so it is still an interesting to those of us inclined to do our own tuning and modifying.

David is an experienced, smart engine guy. I got the book on Kindle, which eliminated the colors on his graph charts. I wanted some practical info on tuning my Holley mechanical secondary carb to work better, especially at altitude. I didn't get the info I needed. Perhaps more practical drag strip tuning tips was what I was looking for. All in all, an OK book.
