I had to get this book for my nurse-midwifery program. It is like the textbook with teeth, fur and claws that Harry Potter has to jump down on from the bed in order to survive another year at Hogwarts. I wish I did not need it. However, since I do need it, I am glad to say that it is a complete (VERY COMPLETE) rendering of the art of caring for women and delivering their babies, that any aspiring obstetrician or midwife might need.
