I stumbled across this Bible for a friend of mine who is a recovering alcoholic. Little did I know that it would be just as helpful for me! No matter what your bad habits, hurts, or hangups are, they are covered in this Bible. There are encouraging testimonies from people who have taken the journey through recovery; an indepth explanation of the 12 step program and 8 beautitudes; 30 days worth of devotions and character studies on people in the Bible. If you are trying to get past anything that is inhibiting your growth in Christ, then this is the perfect stepping stone in understanding yourself and what God has to say.

I purchased The Life Recovery Bible NLT and appreciate many things about it, but there were some differences from scripture that I felt were maybe too different for my own comfort level. I was really excited when Amazon offered the Celebrate Recovery Bible NIV, I bought the hard back and was so happy with it that I have now ordered and await the paperback of the same. Easier to take with me. I Love the Daily Devotionals in the back of the Bible and the additional commentary as well. Thanks Amazon for being in touch with the good offers you send out!
