This book is for anyone facing a needed or wanted change in their lives.
I have struggled through the changes I have made in my own life because I jumped too soon, headed headfirst into a world I was not prepared for. Those changes have been more difficult because I stepped into them without that solid preparation.
This book really is a step by step guide through the preparation, the change, and then through the aftermath. It is helping me through a much needed change right now from a grounded, solid perspective. A place I never began a transition from before.
Amazingly, though, it is also helping me to go back and revisit some recent, difficult changes, with a little grace, tough love, healing, and learning. Unlike other books I have read that have brought me to the point of changing and left me there, this one is helping me navigate the rough waters that almost always follow. It's forcing me to look at forgiveness, something I thought I was getting better at, and not only be more honest with myself but to take the steps to free myself from that burden.

I am only on the second chapter and I SWEAR I have experienced a shift already. I took the action step Nanci recommends at the end of the chapter about telling someone something I didn't want anyone to know about me and to my surprise the universe quickly gifted me a reward. I was amazed at how fast things can change. How freeing it was to share what kept me held prisoner in my head and let go of it.
